We Apologize for the Inconvienence

31 May 2007 in

Apparently some spammer decided to use an email address from this domain in the From: field through an open relay in Spain. If you've come here because you seem to have received spam from this domain, I'd like you to know that I hate spam probably even more than you do. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about what happened, because I have nothing to do with the server that sent you the mail.

But I apologize, anyway.

I agree with Sean Hannity about something??

Hey!

6 March 2007 in

hey!

Wouldn't it be funny if all quotes in the news started with 'hey!'?

"hey! The Federal Reserve has noted increased exuberance in real estate investment coupled with low consumer confidence and job growth, and therefore has decided to raise interest rates a half point. "

Note: That's a screenshot of CNN... that AP story actually looked like that as of this posting.

Just Don't Look

The AP says they were on a self-imposed media blackout of Paris Hilton.

WHY DID THEY STOP?

Send More Internets, Plz

Got this via kos, but the full version is on a Wired blog. Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) is on the Commerce Committee, where network neutrality is being debated. Here's part of his take on why network neutrality legislation should be shot down:

There's one company now you can sign up and you can get a movie delivered to your house daily by delivery service. Okay. And currently it comes to your house, it gets put in the mail box when you get home and you change your order but you pay for that, right.

But this service isn't going to go through the internet and what you do is you just go to a place on the internet and you order your movie and guess what you can order ten of them delivered to you and the delivery charge is free.

Ten of them streaming across that internet and what happens to your own personal internet?

I just the other day got, an internet was sent by my staff at 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday and I just got it yesterday. Why?

Because it got tangled up with all these things going on the internet commercially.

That just... pains me.
