Goat demoted for parade incident

The best thing about this story isn't really what happened, but what used to happen:

Since his demotion, soldiers of a lower rank are no longer expected to salute Billy as a sign of respect, Coates said.

Can you imagine, as part of your job, saluting a goat on a daily basis? or recognizing it as your superior?

"Good to see you, Mr. Goat. Please stop chewing on my pants."
